Registration Section
ONLINE UNIT
The Registration Section comprises of the online unit which is effective as from July 2018. It is located on the 5th floor.
It is composed of a Chief Compliance Officer and a pool of Compliance officers.
This unit deals with the filing of application in CBRIS online platform and eliminates the use of hard copies of documents which is in line with the objective of this Department to become a paperless registry.
Online facilities are now available at the CBRD which allow customers to file documents online, online searches as well as online payment.
SCOPE OF THE ONLINE UNIT
• Dealing with the processing and validation of all documents received online.
• Online data and information are automatically uploaded on the system (CBRIS).
• Time saving.
• Easy retrieval of real time information
FUNCTION OF THE ONLINE UNIT
• To examine and ascertain that all documents and applications submitted electronically comply with the various laws under the purview of the CBRD.
• To perform data capture operations in the computerised system in the Corporate and Business Registration Department and to ensure their accuracy.
